You’re probably heard the term “Green Building” used before to describe other new construction and development projects. However, at Contessa Bella we want you to know that we’ve gone far and beyond the standard Green Building practices. The LEED for Homes program offered by the US Green Building Council ensures the homeowner a host of benefits that are outside standard Green Building practices used today. Every Contessa Bella home has been designed and built to achieve a minimum of 30% energy savings; most homeowners will experience more. We’ve installed low density foam to all the exterior walls and to the bottom of the roof deck, super low-E dual panel windows, energy-efficient light fixture packages, specially designed and highly efficient air conditioning systems. We’ve installed occupancy sensors on all of the bathroom exhaust fans and lighting. From the paint that’s used on the walls to the lacquer that’s used on the doors – even the carpet is 100% recycled. We used electronic pre-filters on the air conditioning systems to ensure that the air is 99.9% free of airborne contaminants. We’ve even installed special exhaust fans in every garage to help remove harmful pollutants.
